The negotiations were completed ten days ago and now it’s official. Greek center Ian Vougioukas is the new member of Lokomotiv Kuban, leaving Zalgiris Kaunas.
Vougioukas signed a two year (1+1) contract with his new team and he will compete in the VTB league and also in the Eurocup under Greek coach Fotis Katsikaris. Vougioukas finished last season in Zalgiris Kaunas and in the past he has also been a member both of Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
The 31 years old center has also played for Rethymno and Panellinios in Greece, for Galatasaray in Turkey, for Ulm in Germanh and for Unics Kazan in Russia.
