Guard EJ Rowland joined Khimki on Wednesday. Rowland (1.88 meters, 33 years old) arrives from Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, where last season he played 16 Eurocup games averaging 15.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.2 steals.
Rowland ranked 4th overall in accumulated index rating during the regular season(201), ninth in average scoring and eighth in average assists for the season. Prior to Hapoel, Rowland had also played in Banvit Bandirma of Turkey, VEF Riga of Latvia – where he won the 2012-13 Latvian League and was also named VTB League regular season MVP that same season – Unicaja Malaga of Spain, Cremona of Italy, Telekom Baskets Bonn and Artland Dragons of Germany and also Barons / LMT Riga of Latvia, where he made his European debut back in 2007.
