After the resignation of Vlado Scepanovic, Buducnost moved quickly in order to find its new head coach, striking a deal with Ilias Zouros. as the club officially announced.
Zouros, who currently also serves as head coach of the Georgian national team, signed a contract for the remainder of the season with the Montenegrin team. In his first quotes as Buducnost coach, he emphasized on the need of his squad to “play better defense”, while saying that he trusts in his player’s “high basketball IQ.”
The Greek coach comes to Buducnost heavily experienced on the top level of European basketball, having coached Euroleague teams such as Zalgiris Kaunas and Anadolu Efes.
