Nizhny Novgorod officially announced the transfer of Croatian center Tomislav Zubcic. The 26-year-old player signed a contract for the remainder of the season.
Zubcic began the season with Avtodor Saratov, also in Russia which he had joined with a one plus one month deal. His contract expired on November 29th and now he found his new destination in Nizhny Novgorod.
Actually, the Croatian big guy had faced Nizhny in his debut with Avtodor, scoring 16 points to help the team from Saratov get a 95 – 92 victory.
With Nizhny, Zubcic will also participate in Eurocup with his new team having already checked its ticket for the next stage of the competition.
