Not many games last night in the NBA but all of them were piled with plenty of showtime and some stunning performances.
Like the one of Russel Westbrook, for example. By accomplishing his 15th (!) triple-double of the season he led the Thunder to victory against the Rockets and is close to a historical record. If makes three more, he is going to surpass Magic Johnson who had finished the 1989-1990 season with 17 triple-doubles.
Kobe Bryant’s return was combined with 20 personal points and a victory for the L.A. Lakers, while a… mini Linsanity helped the Charlotte Hornets defeat the Brooklyn Nets. Meanwhile, driven by the game of Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside and Dwayne Wade, the Miami Heat overpowered the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Results:
Brooklyn Nets – Charlotte Hornets (Jeremy Lin 21 p.): 100 – 105
New Orleans Pelicans – Miami Heat (Goral Dragic 21. 8 r. 5 a.) : 99 – 113
Oklahoma City Thunder (Russel Westbrook 21 p. 15 a. 13 a.) – Houston Rockets: 111 – 107
L.A. Lakers (Jordan Clarkson 22 p. 5 a.) – Memphis Grizzlies: 107 – 100
