The raving success of the “EKO 2016 Antetokounbros Streetball Event” in Heraklion of Crete, which was co-organized by Eurohoops along with the region of Crete and the municipality of Heraklion, was just the beginning!
Heraklion now passes the torch to Thessaloniki, on May 22, while the last stop for this summer will be Athens on the 29th of the same month!
Thanasis’ team beat the one of Giannis 114-11, in a game where the older brother of the Antetokounmpo family scored 55 points, and the player of the Milwaukee Bucks dropped 57! But hey, who cares about the final score or the winner?
What truly remains from this wonderful afternoon in the Venetian Harbor of the city, is the show that the Antetokounbros and their friends gave. More than anything, what matters is how much the people, who flooded the event, enjoyed the whole party! Many children, families, people of all ages had tons of fun and spent two hours full of joy. In the end, they renewed their appointment for the next summer!
In the following video you can watch some of the spectacular moments from the game but, more importantly, you can receive the magical aura that surrounded the whole event and the connection between the Antetokounbros and the friends with the people that filled the area around the court.
