A late week for the VTB League as four games will be played on Sunday and one on Monday. Zenit holds the top with 4-0 followed by Parma’s 2-0 and Lokomotiv’s 5-1 record. CSKA is fourth with 4-1.
Lokomotiv Kuban – Unics Kazan 93-81
Another great game for Lokomotiv’s Alan Williams and Mantas Kalnietis who logged double-doubles. Williams scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Kalnietis had ten points and 14 assists.
Jordan Crawford and Kevin Hervey led the scorers with 22 points each while for Unics, John Brown and Jordan Morgan scored 18 points each.
CSKA Moscow – Enisey 109-60
A dominant performance was on display by CSKA, led by Ivan Ukhov who used his opportunity to the fullest with 6-7 from deep on his way to 18 points.
Semen Antonov and Tornike Shengelia added 16 points each while, on the other side, Mikhail Kulagin scored 21 points in addition to Dustin Hogue’s 10.
Zenit St. Petersburg – Astana 85 – 52
After recovering from multiple coronavirus cases on the team, Zenit played its first game in three weeks and crushed Zenit at home to improve to 5-0. Kevin Pangos led the way with 14 points and nine assists, Anton Pushkov had 13 points and six rebounds and Andrey Zubkov posted 10 points and nine boards.
For Astana, Michael Thompson scored 16 points. Devyn Marble had 13 points and Adonis Thomas 10.
Zielona Gora – Tsmoki Minsk 89 – 75
Geoffrey Grosselle scored 23 points as Zielona Gora downed Tsmoki Minsk. Iffe Lundberg added 18 points and nine assists, Rolands Freimanis had 18 points and Cecil Williams 15 points.
Cris Klyburn, Will Clyburn’s younger brother, finished the game with 25 points for Minsk.
