Zielona Gora pulled off the upset against Unics Kazan thanks to a stunning performance by Iffe Lundberg.
Zielona Gora – Unics Kazan 92 – 86
Iffe Lundberg scored 32 points and dished out five assists as Zielona Gora grabbed its second win of the season by beating Unics Kazan at home. Geoffrey Grosselle (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Kris Richard (16 points, six rebounds) also contributed to a strong offensive effort by Zielona.
Okar White (22 points), Jamar Smith (18 points, seven assists) and Jordan Morgan (16 points and eight rebounds) were Unics’ top scorers.
Nizhny Novgorod – Parma 88 – 73
Nizhny defeated Parma with ease behind Kasey Sheperd’s1 19 points plus five assists and Artem Komolov’s 16 points. Robert Johnson (14 points) and Boris Savovic (10 points, six rebounds) scored in double figures from Parma.
Avtodor – Lokomotiv 89-85 (OT)
It took an extra-five minute period for Avtodor to achieve its fourth straight victory, paced by a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds by Drew Gordon. Gian Lopez added 24 points and five boards and Zeljko Sakic had 13 points and 9 boards.
Lokomotiv’s Will Cummings posted a game-high with 29 points, Alan Williams had a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds, Kevin Hervey dropped 15 points and 8 rebounds and Mindaugas Kuzminskas added 14 points.
