UNICS Kazan is slowly making its way up in the VTB League standings as they knocked off Tsmoki-Minsk for their second straight victory to improve to a 5-3 record.
Isaiah Canaan delivered 33 points and 5 rebounds in the team’s 83-77 victory, while Kris Clyburn led the Minsk side with 19 points and 8 rebounds, even though the team remains at the bottom of the standings with a 1-7 record.
Nizhny Novgorod also continued its streak and took it to three games (5-1) after beating Enisey 83-79 at home. Anton Astapkovich went out with a team-high of 18 points and 4 assists. On the other side of the court, Dustin Hogue led Enisey (1-8) with 17 points.
Zielona Gora (5-6) took down Parma (4-5) on Sunday for their second straight win. Iffe Lundberg led the way with 25 points, 5 assists while Rolands Freimanis added 21 points. Parma’s Adas Juskevicius and Eigirdas Zukauskas both added 16 points.
