Austin Hollins scored 26 points and Kevin Pangos posted 12 points plus 12 assists in 27:50 minutes as Zenit St. Petersburg beat Avtodor Saratov 89 – 62 on the road to remain at the top of the VTB League standings.
Dusan Ristic had 16 points plus nine rebounds while Nate Mason scored 12 for Avtodor that is eighth. The Saratov side fell behind 14 – 31 at the end of the first period and never managed truly bounce back.
Zenit led for the entire game and put the icing with a dominant 9 – 26 final period to recover in a strong fashion following a EuroLeague upset to Baskonia.
