UNICS Kazan made short work of Zielona Gora in the opening game of the VTB United League quarterfinals with an 87-60 victory at home.
Okaro White stepped up for the home team with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists to lead all scorers of the game, as UNICS got ahead with a 46-25 lead by halftime and never looked back.
Isaiah Canaan added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts and John Holland followed with 10 points.
Kris Richard and Janis Berzins paced Zielona Gora with 11 and 10 points respectively and Rolands Freimanis added 10.
Game 2 of the series takes place Friday, May 14 (20:00 CET).
