Unics Kazan beat Zielona Gora 90 – 79 on the road to sweep the VTB League best-of-three quarterfinal series and advance to the next stage. The Kazan side will face Lokomotiv Kuban for a spot in the Finals.
Jamar Smith scored a team-high 18 points and dished out five assists while John Holland had 17 points for Unics. Okaro White posted a double-double of 15 points plus 10 rebounds and Nate Wolters finished with 12 points plus seven assists.
For Zielona Gora, Kris Richard had 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Skyler Bowlin added 15 points.
