Zenit Saint Petersburg and CSKA Moscow went at it in Game 2 of their VTB League semifinal series, and the hosts managed to grab a 107-104 win after two overtimes to tie the best-of-five series at 1-1. CSKA will host the upcoming two games.
Kevin Pangos was the hero of the night for Zenit with 27 points including two clutch jump shots in the final minute of the game. He also dished nine assists.
Billy Baron stepped up as well, hitting a few key three-pointers down the stretch – including the one for Zenit’s 8-0 start to the second overtime – on his way to 20 points while Alex Poythress added 15.

Tornike Shengelia spent almost 45 minutes on the court and the Georgian big man was huge for CSKA with 27 points and an amazing triple to send the game into overtime.

Will Clyburn had a big game too, with 28 points and was just centimeters away from nailing a game-winning three at the end of the first overtime. Daniel Hackett helped with 17 points.
