Alexey Shved poured 17 points to lift CSKA Moscow to an 87-62 victory over Enisey on the road in VTB League Friday.
Semen Antonov added 11 points and Nikita Kurbanov had 10 points and 8 rebounds for Dimitris Itoudis’ squad which has won its second game of the week and fourth in a row (12-3).
It should be noted that, despite the fact that Russian teams have been suspended by the EuroLeague following the invasion of Ukraine, VTB League has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season.
Enisey’s James Thompson led the team with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, Timofey Yakushin and Timofey Gerasimov both had 12 points and Ivan Viktorov followed with 10. Enisey suffered its fourth consecutive defeat to drop to a 3-11 record.
