Jordan Loyd led Zenit Saint Petersburg to a 75-69 road win which closed out the VTB semifinal series at 3-1. Zenit advanced and will face CSKA Moscow in the Finals.
Loyd banked in 22 points as the top scorer of the match while Baron helped out with 18 points. Loyd also added five boards and five assists while Alex Poythress had ten points, seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lorenzo Brown scored 19 points for UNICS with Mario Hezonja logging 15 points, 11 rebounds. Will Mosley helped out with 16 points.
The game flow had a lot of ups and downs on both sides but the 12-0 run by Zenit early in the fourth quarter decided the outcome. The guests went from being down 58-57 to a safe 69-58 lead. Loyd was the one to spark it with five consecutive points.
