CSKA Moscow announced that the team signed Serbian forward Dejan Davidovac. The player is moving to the Russian powerhouse on a deal for the upcoming season which includes an option for 2023-24.
Davidovac, 24, will play outside Serbia for the first time in his career. He was a member of Crvena Zvezda since 2015, spending the first two years with FMP and then joining Red Star from 2017 until the last season.
With Zvezda, Davidovac won multiple ABA League (2019, 2021, 2022), Serbian League (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) and Serbian Cup (2021, 2022).
“I’m very glad to join the legendary club CSKA,” Davidovac said for the team’s website. “I’ve never played outside Serbia and I’m happy that my first step abroad will be with a team of such reputation. I’m honored to continue the Serbian history on CSKA after names like Dusan Ivkovic, Nenad Krstic, Milos Teodosic. We’ll all be very motivated next year to bring back the VTB League trophy.”
