Joe Thomasson’s adventure in Russia is over. Zenit St. Petersburg has announced that the player is no longer part of the team.
The departure, which has taken place by mutual agreement, only fuels the rumors of a return to Spain, with reportedly Bàsquet Girona and BAXI Manresa, his previous team, as top candidates.
Thomasson’s time in Russia has been more than discreet, averaging 5,1 points, 1,6 rebounds, and two assists in the 14 games played under the orders of Xavi Pascual.
Thank you, Joe!
