Dwayne Bacon scored 15 out of his 19 points in the fourth period to push Zenit St. Petersburg past Crvena Zvezda 83 – 70 in the third-place game of the VTB League SuperCup.
Bacon hit three triples in a row to give his team a 68 – 55 advantage three minutes in the fourth period and set the foundations for Zenit’s win. He also had five rebounds and five assists.
Aleksandr Shcherbenev added 16 points and Alex Poythress had 14 points for Zenit.
Codi Miller-McIntyre stood out from Zvezda with 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Zvezda.
