Playing on the road against Avtodor Saratov, Khimki Moscow Region lost a great chance to cover some of its lost ground in the VTB league standings.
The hosts got the 87-84 win and remain at the 6th place with a 11-8 record, while Khimki is just 5th at 16-6. Jeffrey Brooks had 20 points, however Jeremy Chappell (19 p., 8 r., 4a as.) and Paul Stoll (19 p.) made big plays in crunch time. Alexey Shved with 16 points was the top scorer of Khimki.
Meanwhile, Avtodor Saratov struck a deal with Zack Wright who will now join the Russian club. The experienced point guard leaves Olimpija Lubjana with which he averaged 12 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals in Eurocup.
