Astana BC officially announced the transfer Greek forward Leonidas Kaselakis who last played for Kifissia, Greece.
With the Athenian team, Kaselakis, was named “Most Improved Player” last year in the Greek Basket League, after averaging 12 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
The 26-year old player was proposed by Ilias Papatheodorou, the newly appointed coach of the Kazakh team who worked together with him during the previous season in Kifisia.
This is the first career venture of Kaselakis outside of Greece, after playing for Ilysiakos, PAOK, AEK and Kifissia.
