During the VTB League game between CSKA Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod, Dimitris Itoudis and Aaron Jackson were involved in an… intense quarrel before a team’s timeout.
The American guard reacted a bit angrily to what his coach told him and then his teammates needed to intervene in order to calm things between him and Itoduis. The incident took place early in the match, and Jackson didn’t step on the floor after it, playing only for 3:30 minutes.
Coach Itoudis adressed what took place between him and his player saying: “As for moment with Jackson in the beginning – basketball is a men’s sport, my main concern is to protect CSKA. I love Jack as much as I love any other player of our team.”
