In the time remaining Matt Janning missed the shot that could have send the game to overtime, Kevin Jones took the offensive rebounds, but Markovic blocked him and the game was over.

Greek big man Ian Vougioukas was the top scorer of Lokomotiv with 16 points and 6 rebounds, Janning added 14 points and Mardy Collins made an amazing half court buzzer beater. They were not enough.
After this result Zenit has a 18-3 record and remains on the hunt of CSKA Moscow (18-2) which will face Khimki (16-3) on Monday. Lokomotiv remains fourth with a 14-5 record, over Unics Kazan (12-8).
