Evgeny Valiev with a double-double (14 p. 10 r.), Kyle Landry, Ryan Toolson and Demonte Harper with 12 points each led the charge against Nick Minnerath who had one more big game with 27 points.
The hosts had a 53-47 lead at half time and started the second half with a 14-0 run (67-47). Avtodor couldn’t recover after that. Zenit finished the season with a 20-3 record over Lokomotiv Kuban and Khimki which are currently tied at 18-5.
Avtodor with a 7-16 record is out of the playoffs and if Zenit gets to be the second best team of the league behind CSKA Moscow, or get the championship title, then they will play in next season’s EuroLeague.
