Nando De Colo scored 21 points, Kyle Hines 16 as many as Semen Antonov (a season-high) as CSKA Moscow took advantage over Khimki Moscow in the Finals with a 94 – 88 victory.
The numbers written in the boxscore don’t exactly tell the whole truth about how the game progressed. The defending champs were leading 87 – 59 three minutes into the fourth period but then relaxed and laid down their defenses allowing Khimki to draw closer.
Yet that large deficit couldn’t be erased. Alexey Shved led Khimki with with 18 points, albeit shooting with 4/16 from the field while committing five turnovers for two assists. EJ Rowland and Vyacheslav Zaitcev scored 15 apiece.
