Khimki improved their record in the VTB League to 6-3 as after prevailing over Enisey 92 – 62 at home.
It was an easy game for Khimki as they were in charge from the beginning until the end. Both offense and defense worked smoothly for them as they allowed Enisey to score 27 points in the first half, building a comfortable lead 46-27.
Three players of Khimki were scoring in double-figures in the first half as Alexey Shved had 11 points and Tyler Honeycutt and Sergei Monia both had 10.
Shved finished the game with 19 points in a just 19 minutes on the floor making sure that Enisey had no chance for a comeback.
Honeycutt followed Shved with 18 points and Malcolm Thomas was one point away from the double-double as he had 9 points and 10 boards.
Martins Meiers had 12 points for Enisey, but he was far from preventing them from another loss.
With this loss, Enisey now falls to a 2-6 record in the VTB League.
