Avtodor Justin Robinson was named the VTB United League February MVP. As the VTB announced, the 22-year old guard is the youngest player to receive the award and also the shortest (174 cm), in League history.
Justin Robinson averaged 23.5 points (54.9% shooting), 11.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and a 28.5 PIR in February. Robinson finished over CSKA guard Nando De Colo and Nizhny Novgorod forward Stevan Jelovac.
“This is a big honor, to be the February MVP in the VTB United League. Usually, players who receive this award have been playing professionally for a long time. I’m new. This is my first season in Europe. That makes it even more valuable. I couldn’t have won this award without the support and trust of my coaches and my teammates. I want to thank the fans, too. They always support the team. Also, thank you to the League, which felt I deserved this award”, Robinson said to VTB.
