Thanks to a team effort Unics Kazan recorded another win the VTB League. This time they beat Parma 88-81 on the road as they won all the periods except the last one.
Despite not winning the fourth quarter (23-23) the visiting squad were in the charge all the time. They shared the ball very well dishing 21 assists pacing their way to the victory. They were up by 5 after the first half (41-36) and they hold onto that lead down until the end.
Codi Miller-McIntyre and Ivan Ukhov had a huge game for the hosts, but it wasn’t enough. Miller-McIntyre had a game-high with an astonishing 28 points followed by Ukhov’s 25 points. Ukhov had a hot hand scoring 6 triples (6-8 for three). However, Unics always had the right answer for the hosts Jamar Smith had a game-high for Unics with 16 points while Maurice Ndour had 13.
This was a six straight win for Unics as the moved up to a 21-2 record as they grabbed the top of the standings while Parma stands on a 7-16.
