CSKA Moscow took down Zenit at home with 100-84 and can rest assured at the top of the VTB League standings, next to Unics.
Sergio Rodriguez paced his team with a near double-double of 19 points and eight assists, while Will Clyburn’s crescendo also added 18 points for the winners.
Earlier in the day, Lokomotiv enjoyed a home sweep against Enisey, with a smashing 106-57. Jonas Maciulis was the leading star of the winners, with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Khimki suffered a road loss to Avtodor with 104-92. The Saratov side was paced by the league’s April MVP, Coty Clarke, who registered a 30-point performance.
