The club announced that Kulagin signed a new contract until 2022, after being added to the roster back in October with a two-year deal.
Kulagin has played in the VTB United League since 2009, with previous stops at Nizhny Novgorod (2009-2011), Triumph (2011-12 and 2013-14), Krasnye Krylia (2012-13), Zenit (2014-15) and CSKA (2015-17). While playing at Triumph, he was named the 2015 VTB United League Young Player of the Year.
He also competed at EuroBasket 2017 with the Russian national team, averaging 5.8 points and 2.2 assists.
