Less than a week before the EuroLeague Final Four (18-20 May), CSKA Moscow crushed Parma 111 – 76 to finish the VTB League Regular Season at the top of the standings with a 22 – 2 record.
This game marked the return of guard Nando De Colo and center Kyle Hines for CSKA following a one-month absence. De Colo was actually the top performer for the “Army Men” with a team-high 20 PIR after scoring 17 points and dishing out five assists in 19 minutes.
Hines added six points and four rebounds in 15 minutes while Semen Antonov scored 18 points for an unstoppable CSKA that led 90 – 55 at the end of the third period before turning its engines down a bit in the last quarter.
Frank Gaines dropped a game-high 26 points and Ivan Ukhov had 13 points and seven assists for Parma who completed the regular season with 7-17 and at the 10th place.
