Avtodor Saratov and American forward Jackie Carmichael parted ways, the Russian club announced. Saratov didn’t pick the extension option on the player’s contract to keep him for the rest of the season and thus Carmichael is again a free agent.
Carmichael, 28, averaged 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers where Saratov was eliminated by Fribourg in the first round. He also appeared in one VTB League game with Saratov, scoring 14 points and grabbing six rebounds in a loss to Unics Kazan.
