After going scoreless with 0/11 vs. VEF Riga, Brandon Jennings posted a double-double of 20 points (9/12 shots) and 13 assists for a season-high 35 PIR, as Zenit St. Petersburg blew out Enisey 116 – 81 at home to register its second consecutive win in VTB League following two losses in the first two matches.
The game was practically over by halftime. A furious Zenit scored 68 (!) points in 20 minutes and for all its own potent offense (46 points at the break), Enisey simply couldn’t keep up with this kind of efficiency.
Evgeny Valiev scored a season-high 22 points for Zenit while Jalen Reynolds had 17. John Roberson (20 points) and D’Angelo Harrison (18 points) were the top contributors for Enisey that dropped to 2-4.
