Thanks to a big tree by Dorell Wright, Lokomotiv Kuban escaped from Moscow with the 84-82 road win against Khimki.
Wright finished the game with 16 points, six rebounds, and three assists, Dmitriy Kulagin added a great all-around performance with 17 points, eight rebounds and eights assists and Mateusz Ponitka had 13 points.
Jordan Mickey with 17 points was the top scorer of the losing side and Stefan Markovic had the chance to win the game with a three at the buzzer but didn’t make it.
After this result, Khimki has a 12-4 record, good enough for the third place in the standings behind Unics Kazan (13-3) and Lokomotiv Kuban is left alone at the fourth spot with an 11-5 record.
