CSKA Moscow defeated Parma 79 – 69 away from home to improve its VTB League record to 17 – 2.
Will Clyburn posted 18 points and eight rebounds while Sergio Rodriguez added 17 points and seven assists for a CSKA squad that had a powerful third period to reach the win.
Parma had even assumed the lead late in the first half before CSKA went up 37 – 36 at the break. But after the break, the “Army Men” overpowered their opponents 30 – 16 to establish an advantage hat got them going for the remainder of the match.
Eigirdas Zukauskas had 14 points plus four steals for Parma while former CSKA player Ivan Lazarev scored 11. Their team is now 3-13.
