Jordan Mickey banked all of his shots and led Khimki to a 94-64 home win and the 2-0 lead over Astana in the VTB League playoffs.
Mickey was 8-8 from the field including one triple on his way to 18 points while also adding five rebounds. Alexey Shved scored 19 points along with seven assists.
For Astana, Stephen Holt scored 15 in addition to Kenneth Horton’s 14 points and eight boards while Geoffrey Grosselle added 13 points.
Khimki is one win away from advancing to the Final Four but the series will now move to Astana’s home court for Game 3 which is scheduled on Saturday (10/5).
