Unics banked 64 points in the first half going ahead by 25 points and then kept the distance until the end for a 96-84 road win over Kalev. With this win, Unics completed the 3-0 sweep of the series and are the first squad to advance to the semifinals.
Errick McCollum nailed 24 points on 5-5 shooting from deep followed by Jamar Smith’s 16 and Raymar Morgan’s 15 points.
For Kalev, Arnett Moultrie scored 19 in addition to Branko Mirkovic’s 17 points and ten rebounds. Chavaughn Lewis helped with 14 points.
Unics’ opponent in the semifinals will be the winner of the series between Khimki and Astana. At the moment, Khimki is up 2-0 and Game 3 will be played at Astana’s home court.
