Khimki Moscow prevailed over Astana on the road with an 88-81 victory and sealed a total sweep in their best-of-five series of the VTB League playoffs.
Jordan Mickey led Rimas Kurtinaitis’ team with a total of 25 points (11-12 FG%), eight rebounds, and three assists across 26 minutes on the court.
Alexey Shved didn’t fall far behind, as he posted 20 points while taking 12(!) shots from the three-point line, three of which found the net.
Astana’s journey in the VTB League ends for this season in a bittersweet note, as earlier in the day, Emil Rajkovic was named VTB League coach of the year.
