Dorell Wright is the recipient of the annual VTB United League Sixth Man of the Year award. Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar’s forward came off the bench in 21 out of his 24 2018-19 VTB Regular Season appearances averaging 12.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 13.5 PIR per contest, added 5.3 points per match in the Playoffs.
“I want to thank VTB United League for awarding me with the Sixth Man of the Year title. It means a lot to me. Of course, such an achievement wouldn’t be possible without my teammates. It’s a great honor, I’m very pleased” Wright said to VTB.
Previous winners were James Augustine (2013-14), Petteri Koponen (2014-15), Quino Colom (2015-16), Suleiman Braimoh (2016-17) and Jamar Smith (2017-18).
