Alexey Shved’s Khimki lost the VTB League Finals Game 1 against CSKA and although it might make his achievement somewhat bitter, Shved did become the all-time leader in three-pointers made.
Shved made three shots from deep against CSKA which improved his total to 365 as he passed Lokomotiv Kuban’s Vitaly Fridzon who scored a total of 364 threes. However, Shved has done it in 143 games, far less than Fridzon’s 252.
The third spot belong to another Khimki player in Sergey Monia who is also the only one, along with the first two, to have made more than 300 threes so far.
