Khimki Moscow registered its second win in a row in 2019-2020 in VTB League by defeating Kalev Tallinn 86 – 63 on the road.
Janis Timma scored a team-high 16 points (1/9 3-pointers) while Stefan Jovic contributed 12 points and six assists in 18 minutes for Khimki. Jonas Jerebko posted nine points and six boards.
Janari Joesaar led Kalev with 18 points and eight rebounds.
Khimki assumed control of the game in the second quarter by outplaying their opponents 11 – 20. Kalev tried to keep up but in the final period, the visiting squad once again put on some intense defense to allow just 10 points and cruise to victory.
