BC Kalev/Cramo dominated the second quarter against UNICS Kazan and eventually logged a convincing 85-63 home win in VTB League. Kalev now holds a 2-1 record while UNICS has one win and one loss.
Aigars Skele led the way with 15 points while Kristjan Kangur banked 14 points and nine rebounds. Kyle Vinales and Sander Raieste added 14 points each as well.
Valery Likhodey, Alex Tyus and Jamar Smith scored ten points each for UNICS. Kostas Kaimakoglu helped with eight points and nine boards.
After a balanced first quarter (22-21), Kalev completely took over winning the second quarter 27-8 and going to the halftime rest with a 20-point advantage (49-29). The hosts managed to keep their distance in the third (62-42) and sealed the win in the fourth quarter.
