Nizhny Novgorod stunned Zenit St. Petersburg on the road and grabbed a 76-69 victory in the VTB League, their second for the season (2-1).
Led by Darral Willis (14 points) and Ivan Strebkov (11 points), the visiting side enjoyed a 6-0 run in the final minute of an intense game and locked a great result on the road.
Zenit suffered its first defeat of the season but had Gustavo Ayon and Alex Renfroe pacing the squad with 14 and 13 points each.
Earlier in the day, Mike James led CSKA Moscow back to victories in the VTB League with a 3-point feast against Tsmoki-Minsk.
