Kalev beat visiting Zenit St. Petersburg 84-80 in VTB League on Monday and moved up to a 2-2 record.
Despite Gustavo Ayon exiting the game with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds, Zenit struggled for the most part of the game, ending up also to a 2-2 record.
Kyle Vinales and Kristjan Kitsing led the winning side with 17 points each.
Also in this week’s action, Khimki Moscow kept its perfect record by beating Astana, CSKA strolled past Zielona Gora on the road, Nizhny Novgorod defeated Tsmoki and Lokomotiv overcame Unics Kazan.
Khimki remains the only undefeated team so far in this season, followed by Nizhny Novgorod, Enisey (3-1) and Lokomotiv (2-1) in the standings.
