The Army Team improved to a 4-2 record, while the visiting side has still yet to see a victory in this VTB League season.
Apart from James, Johannes Voigtmann also exited the game in double-figures with 15 points and four boards, while Darrun Hilliard posted 14 points along with eight boards.
CSKA kept Avtodor in check, though Elgin Cook caused a lot of damage to their defense and finished with a game-high performance of 33 points and four boards.
