CSKA Moscow had everything covered as they logged a convincing 94-69 home win against Nizhny Novgorod in VTB League. CSKA improved to 6-2 compared to Nizhny’s 3-4 record.
Joel Bolomboy led the way with 15 points followed by Darrun Hilliard’s 14 and Kyle Hines’ 12 points. For Nizhny, Anton Astapkovich scored 16 and Pavel Antipov 13 points.
Meanwhile, Zenit St Petersburg grabbed a 93-80 road win over UNICS led by Alex Renfroe‘s 25 points on perfect shooting.
Colton Iverson added 13 while for Unics, Errick McCollum scored 21 points. Both squads now hold a 4-4 record.
Khimki stayed the only undefeated team this season with an 8-0 record followed by CSKA (6-2) and Lokomotiv (5-2).
