Enes Kanter wasn’t included in the Turkish national team, coach Ergin Ataman explained that it was a decision based on the indifference of the player towards the team, but Kanter has an other explanation.
According to the talented forward, the reason behind this decision was political: “I wasn’t called in the national team because of my political views. I was ready to play for national team. Their explanation isn’t true. I was constantly saying during the last two years that I’m ready for national team. Still, I support my friends in the roster. We have to focus on our national team’s success now”.
