Alex Tyus is back on the market, as the player was released today by Anadolu Efes after a turbulent season in Istanbul.
Despite signing a deal for two seasons last summer, Tyus and Efes never proved to be the right match for each other and now he will have to continue his career elsewhere. Tuys has been linked with Panathinaikos, but so far no offer is made by the Greens towards the player.
Since, considering the many changes that are expected in Panathinaikos‘ roster, the Greek club can be one of the possible destinations for Tyus. In the past the 28 years old player was a teammate of Panathinaikos’ guard Nick Calathes in the Florida Gators, during their NCAA days.
