Valencia strengthened its frontcourt by finally signing power forward Will Thomas with a 2-year deal, after being in talks with Unicaja. The 30-year old player spent the last 2 seasons in Malaga and last season he averaged 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in 24 Euroleague games.
He started his career in Belgium, playing for Belgacom Liege Basket and Telenet Ostend. He then moved on to play for Army Sport Klub Tbilisi, with which he won the Georgian League title in 2012. He has also played for Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkey (with which was a EuroChallenge runner up) in 2013 and Sidigas Avellino in Italy.
Thomas will make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Valencia next season.
