The top scorer of the Euroleague, Nando De Colo, is also the MVP of the season as it was announced today. The French guard is having the best year of his career and one more individual award proves that.
De Colo was the favorite by the numbers, having the best ranking than any other player in the league with a 24 average. He is also scoring 18,92 point per game, a number which is the best performance in the league during the last decade.
De Colo’s team, CSKA Moscow is considered one of the favorites of the Final Four, having finished on top of its regular and Top16 group and getting the ticket to Berlin with a sweep in the playoffs over Crvena Zvezda. The performance of De Colo contributed greatly to those results. He is the first French player to ever win this award.
It remains to be seen if he can continue playing like this in the two biggest games of the season.
