Olympiacos officially announced the addition of 22-year old Greek power forward Paris Maragkos to its roster. He signed a four-year contract with the Reds.
Maragkos began in Panathinaikos‘ youth teams from 2010 to 2012, also appearing in the Greek Basket League with the team. His last station before joining Olympiacos, was the Eagles basketball team of the American university.
“I came back from the States in order to begin my career in Greece. And I am very happy that I will join Olympiacos‘ family. I feel blessed for the opportunity that was given to me”, said Maragkos in his statements for the club’s official website.
“I am 100% sure that I will learn many things, especially by Giorgos Printezis who plays the same position as me. As for Spanoulis… what can I say? He is the absolute leader”, added the new signing of Olympiacos.
